Royal Trek |
This is an easy and short trek, which starts
from near Pokhara and offers good mountain views. It gains its
name because Britain's prince Charles and his team trekked here.
During this trek, one can see the village of Brahmins, Chhetris,
Gurungs, Magars, etc. This area will be good for those who like
to go in less tourist area.
You can follow in the foot steps of Royalty with the Siklis or
Royal Trek that was walked by the Prince of Wales himself. This
pleasant trek starts outside of Pokhara at Bengas Lake. The
trail takes us to a Gurung village and then to fabulous views of
Machhapuchre, Annapurna, and Lamjung. The trek generally takes 4
to 5 days. |
