For people wishing to have fun with rafting,
Nepal is the perfect place. Because of its fast flowing,
beautiful and powerful rivers rafting will be the perfect fun to
make your heart feel happy and enjoyable. The rivers of Nepal
are very perfect one for rafting because of having their sources
in the glaciers draining the slopes of one or other of the great
peaks, these mighty and powerful rivers cut through the Nepali
countryside, swift and turbulent sometimes, placid and calm at
others, providing an exhilarating means of viewing and
ever-changing scenery.
The Trisuli, river of the Trident and of Shiva is the best
introduction to wonderful rafting (you can take a trip for) one
to three days. The Sunkosi, River of Gold is for the true white
water enthusiast lasting 10days. The Tamakosi River of Copper
and the beautiful River, Kaligandaki for 8 and 3 days is one of
the best white water rafting in Nepal.
The Arun, Marshyangdi, Seti for a perfect family expedition for
two to three days. Bheri and Karnali are fast flowing and deep,
sparkling clean water, strong rapids, clean water, storing
rapids, untracked and unspoiled river for 10 & 15 days. Tumbling
downwards from the mountains, all having their sources in the
glaciers draining the slopes of one or other of the great peaks.

Trishuli River |
The classic river (1 to 3 days)
For first time paddlers, a trip down the Trisuli is an
experience not to be missed (class 3 to 4+ in high water). While
you learn to handle the river’s well spaced, straightforward
rapids, a panorama of stunning gorges drifts quietly past.
During the monsoon, the river promises a more challenging ride,
with powerful rapids and whirlpools. This trip can easily be
combined with a visit to Chitwan National Park or Pokhara. |

Bhotekoshi River |
The harmony of Tibet and the Himalayas (2
days)
The Bhote Koshi is one of the best white water adventures in
Nepal (class4 to 5). Your journey to the starting point takes
you through the mountains, past a vista of traditional Tibetan
life. Once you’re on the river though, there is no time to stop
and admire the scenery, as you and your fellow rafters negotiate
some of the fastest and steepest rapids in Nepal. This true
adventure can be rafted between October and December and
February and April. |

Kali Gandaki River |
River of God (3 days)
Named after the much-revered Goddess Kali and descending from
the deepest gorge in Asia, this fabulous river (class 3 to 4+)

adrenaline with a full immersion into the wilderness.
Along the way you will encounter culture at its simplest. If
you’re lucky, traditional Magyar and Chetri villagers will
venture down to the riverbank to witness your journey through

The raging river (5 days)

Sunkoshi River |
The river of Gold (7 to 9 days)
The Sun Koshi River (class 4 to 5) is famous in rafting circles,
and with good reason. This is one of the 10 most exciting white
water rafting in the world, roaring past remote villages and
green fertile mountains covered with forests and rice terraces,
where local inhabitants can be seen in their daily rural
activities. This is an once-in-a-lifetime experience…
particularly during high waters, when the rapids can swell to
massive sizes, sometimes making the rafts completely disappear

Karnali River |
The Wild West (10 days)
A one-day trek from the nearest road leads you to Karnali,
Nepal’s largest and longest river. On the river, a series of
challenging class IV to V rapids takes you through narrow
canyons and dense forest full of diverse flora and fauna,
finally leaving you close to Bardia National Park, where you can
combine your rafting adventure with a safari trip and maybe spot
some of the park’s one-horned rhinos and elusive tigers. |

Arun River |
Trekker's Delight (9 days)
This trip begins with 3 day trek through remote villages of Arun
valley. Camping out in lush forests with views of the the
snowcapped Himalayan peaks. On the river, the powerful current
drives your raft or kayak through 4 days of great white water
action; at night you relax on fantastic beaches in dramatic
valleys of Arun. In our opinion, the combination of trekking,
spectacular scenery, great rapids and remote location make the
Arun itself best river running.
While the high Himalaya make up Nepal’s northern region, the
southern lowlands known as the Terai are covered with dense
tropical jungles teeming with diverse wildlife and exotic birds.
Here you will find some of the most exciting safari destinations
in the world. You will be going into deep jungle on elephant
back or four-wheel drive vehicle to view wild animals in their
natural habitat. Other thrills include canoe rides on the Jungle
Rivers, nature walks, bird watching excursions and village
tours.
Among the 14 national parks and wildlife reserves in the
Kingdom, Royal Chitwan National Park (932 sq. km.), Koshi Tappu
Wildlife Reserve (175 sq. km.) and Royal Bardiya National Park
